The
countries of the Southern Hemisphere are among the fastest growing in the
world. They include some of the youngest countries and some of the world's
oldest peoples. The countries range from Argentina,
Brazil, Chile and Uruguay
in Latin America to Australia
and New Zealand in the South
West Pacific and the southern African countries of South
Africa and Zimbabwe.Each has a range of opportunities and
challenges for growth and development in forestry, the environment,
agribusiness and climate change.
